HPFPI undertakes its tasks using  community-driven approaches.

The HPFPI aspires for:

  • Security of tenure
  • Decent living and improved economic conditions
  • Emancipation from poverty
  • Protection of their dignity and rights as citizens

HPFPI’s main roles:

  • Organize and mobilize,
  • Network
  • Build capacities of high-risk, low income communities towards: secure tenure; improved housing and services; sustainable livelihoods; disaster risk reduction (DRR) and over-all urban inclusiveness.
